Don’t know what your dog needs? Most people start with either a Case Consultation or a Canine Co-Worker Audit, depending on whether they’re dealing with behaviour challenges or issues working from home with their dog.
On the call, we’ll get to the bottom of what’s really going on and figure out what will work best moving forward for you and your dog. From there, I’ll let you know if it makes sense to continue with a Private Case, a Canine Co-Worker PIP, or something else.
Case Consultation
This is an entry point for people who don’t know what to do with their dog, either because they don’t know what is wrong or they’re unable to identify what to do about the problem. If things feel confusing, this is your opportunity to get a canine professional’s thoughts on your specific situation.
During the call, we figure out what is going on with your dog, why it is happening, and what needs to change. The most important part is that we look at how all of this fits into the context of your life.
For some people, this is all they need in order to move forward. If it isn’t, I’ll either recommend one of my programs or refer you to someone who is a better fit for your situation. It all depends on the context and what will actually best serve you and your dog at this time.
Canine Co-Worker Audit
While working from home should make things with your dog easier, it can actually make the workday harder if you don’t have the right systems in place. The friction usually comes from a lack of routines, unclear expectations, and not having a way to manage your dog effectively while also working.
It can feel like a compatibility issue, and sometimes it is. But more often, it’s something you can fix when you have a better plan in place.
The focus of this call is to look at how your dog fits into your daily life when you’re spending so much time working at your computer. We look at your routine, your dog’s needs, your home environment, and the expectations (conscious or not) you’re placing on your dog.
You’ll leave with a better understanding of why things aren’t working and a plan for how to make life easier working from home with your dog. From there, I’ll let you know if a longer program with me makes sense as a next step.
